The executive whittler really made an impression on me in person! The pictures are nice, but I was very impressed with the fit & finish on an ebony one in person. A sleek pattern executed very nicely. A unique knife and done with precision. A very ’3-dimensional’ design. Congratulations on such a great design and result!

Oh and on another topic, I want to remind Bill that Remington incorporated bails and lanyard holes on many knives. Just a friendly reminder of cutlery tradition/history from a big fan of lanyards, who is hoping to see more bails and lanyard holes on knives from an excellent manufacturer right here in PA. :-)

Not to be contrary Carl, but I think it would be fairly easy to tell the difference between a Case knife and a GEC knife.A lot of collectors tell me GEC would be the better knife.

I too was/am a Case collector who has found GEC. My wife and I were recently on vacation in Titusville and she found a leaflet about GEC so we stopped on the way out of town, took the tour, bought a couple of knives and a book about GEC. Those knives are in a display and I challenge anybody to tell the difference between them and the Case. Like I told Chris after the tour, “Case makes good knives but they aren’t the only one who make good knives.” PA knife makers are the best.
