Does GEC blank their own blades and liners… or are they laser cut? … or waterjet cut? Thanks!

Thank you RMA100. I asked on BF also and it seems that they may waterjet cut the blades and liners in house.

We do blank out our own blades, liners, springs, bolsters, shields etc. We stamp them out, waterjet them and sometimes use the wire machine.

Thank you! I wish I could make it to the rendezvous for a factory tour. I enjoy the "what's happening" updates. Please keep them coming. :)

Taking the tour at GEC really shines some light on everything that goes into these knives. It's amazing to see just how handmade they really are. It takes some great skill to run these machines and GEC is blessed with some great workers.

I'll be at the Rendezvous on Saturday, I'll try to get some pics posted here. :)
